Formula 1 races are held on circuits located all over the world, distributed between Europe, Asia, the Americas, the Middle East and Oceania. Each season, the calendar includes around 20-24 Grand Prix, each in a different country.
The circuits can be of two types:
- Permanent, such as Monza (Italy) or Silverstone (UK), built specifically for racing.
- Citizens, such as Monaco or Singapore, found in the urban streets.
Each track has unique features – some are fast, others technical – and this makes every race different and exciting. The geographical and climatic variety makes Formula 1 a truly global sport.
